I recently went to the Future Fashion Now, exhibition at the V&A. The show focussed on fashion, jewellery & accessories, all new designs from the Royal College of Art.
MA graduate Abbie Shaw work stood out to me. A girl from Hailsham close to my home town of Eastbourne. Living and working in London similar to myself. On show are her quirky illustrations in her sketchbooks. Portraying the ideas behind her wearable feminin unusual dresses and chunky plastic necklaces combinations.
