Hans-Peter Feldmann Exhibition

Last week I went to the serpentine gallery in Hyde Park, as the weather was so nice. I visited the current exhibition German artist Hans-Peter Feldmann. The artist's work varied greatly, as he worked across so many types of media. From Photography, to portraits, to installations, to painting. At a first walk around you would assume this exhibition to be a group show, not just one artist.

The pieces I liked the most was the handbags in glass cabinets. A series of women's handbags and the contents laid out next to the bag. Each bag Feldmann bought from a woman, next to each arrangement is a description of the women's age and location. It is quite interesting to see inside a normally hidden capacity. Items range from purses, money, make up, maps and phones.I also enjoyed the strawberries piece. Showing the imperfections in one object.

I am also looking forward to seeing what will be the upcoming summer pavilion. It was currently being built with a wooden fence up around the area.
